Preparing Before an Earthquake
1.)Be aware of the environmental hazards around you.
2.)Know the structure of your house.
3.)Find out the structure of other buildings.
4.)Strap huge furnatures to walls.
5.)Find out how stable hanging items are (chandeliers, etc.).
6.)Store fragile and harmful/flammable materials securely as possible in the lowest parts of shelves.
7.)Know where the exits are.
8.)Know where your supplies are stored.
9.)Prepare with first aid kits, canned food+can opener, bottled water, extra clothing, a blanket, radio that uses -batteries+extra batteries.
10.)Take part in earthquake drills when they occur

During an Earthquake
If inside...
-Stay calm, stay in where you are.
-If possible, exit as fast as you can.
-Stay under a stable desk and hold on, or get down and protect your head with your arms.
-Stay away from windows and heavy furniture.
If outside...
-Go to an open area.
-Stay away from tress, poles, etc.
-Stay away from steep landforms (Landslides).
-Stay away from beaches and posts (Tsunamis might occur in aftershocks).
-If in a vehicle, get out and avoid bridges that might be damaged.
